Dr. Sekhon
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Sekhon earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 2021 after completing a bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science, with a minor in Business, at the University of Nevada, Reno. While in Reno, Dr. Sekhon also joined the Air Force National Guard as an avionics technician on C130’s.
Dr. Sekhon values thoughtful, evidence-based medicine and believes the best care comes from listening carefully to families, understanding each pet’s individual needs, and creating practical treatment plans together.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Sekhon volunteers as a team lead with the Street Dog Coalition, helping provide veterinary care and resources for people experiencing homelessness and their companion animals. He is also interested in animal welfare, sustainability, and the connection between animal, human, and environmental health. When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Sekhon enjoys gardening, traveling, surfing, snowboarding, sailing, snorkeling, woodworking, leatherworking, and exploring San Diego’s food scene. He looks forward to getting to know Pacific Pet Hospital’s clients and their pets.
