Sally
Veterinary Assistant
Sally is a retired Navy Senior Chief who chose to embark on a second career in veterinary medicine after her time in the service. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Management and Organizational Leadership, combining her expertise in leadership with her passion for animal care. As a graduate of the Veterinary Assistant program at PIMA Medical Institute, Sally completed her externship at our clinic and became an integral member of the team, where she continues to provide exceptional care.
Sally’s love for animals has been lifelong, and she channels this passion into her work every day. She shares her life with Bruce, her Vizsla-German Shepherd mix, who is nearly 4 years old. Bruce has earned the nickname “Velcro Vizsla” due to his close attachment to her. He’s full of energy, and Sally loves watching him eagerly chase after any ball or toy he can find.
Outside of work, Sally enjoys spending time with her husband and Bruce, reading, running, traveling, and tackling home renovation projects. Her background in leadership, combined with her deep love for animals, makes her a valuable asset to our veterinary team.
